March 14, 2021 — 4 PM

The last year has been trying one and required Impromptu Classical Concerts to make the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 season. As the nation embarks on the recovery from the COVID pandemic, the Board of Impromptu has investigated and found a safe option to experience a concert in an outdoor setting performed by one of the very best ensembles in the U.S.

The Board of Impromptu would like to invite you to attend a free concert on the historic grounds of the Key West Lighthouse on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 4 p.m. This concert is sponsored by the Edward B. and Joan T. Knight Foundation. The program will be presented by the Axiom Brass Quintet. This group is internationally recognized for their groundbreaking programming. Their repertoire ranges from jazz and Latin music to string quartet transcriptions, as well as original compositions for brass quintet.  Axiom Brass’ performances have captured the hearts and imaginations of their audiences, leading the ensemble to national radio and television appearances as well as concerts in Asia, Europe and across the U.S.

The outdoor venue for the concert will be setup with appropriate socially distanced seating and limited to 225 attendees. Facial masks will be required to be worn by all attendees for the full duration of the concert.
